Assistant Architectural cum Facade Manager

Job Description :Ÿ

• Responsible for design finalization and shop drawings production/material submission for all the facadesŸ
• Coordination with specialized sub-contractors, clients, and facade consultantsŸ
• Review, coordination, and management of interfaces with other tradesŸ
• Facade design and installation managementŸ
• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with the requirements of the authoritiesŸ
• Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawingsŸ
• Supervise architectural works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and sub-con on technical mattersŸ
• Ensure all submission of detailed drawings, materials, and mock-ups for early approvalŸ
• Ensure all architectural works are carried out as per approved architectural drawings and specifications and all interface details with SWCs works are carried out as per CCSM and Reflected Ceiling Plans.Ÿ
• Plan, manage and maintain the BIM data in compliance with project requirementsŸ
• Create and maintain the project template files to ensure standardsŸ
• Coordinate with other departments and engineers to manage and resolve clashesŸ
• Liaise with sub-contractorsŸ
• Prepare Transmittal on drawings for submission or issuance to sub-contractorsŸ
• Review and revise the current revision statusŸ
• Compiling of As-built drawing upon project completionŸ
• Minor coordination of Architectural / Structural / M&E drawingsŸ
• Detailing and documentation of working drawingŸ
• Check on-site to ensure that architectural works are carried out according to the construction drawingsŸ
• Attend to Architectural materials, sample board, trade demo, and shop drawings submission and submittal review comments from consultantsŸ
• Planning and managing resources during the design phase of projects to achieve maximum resource efficiencyŸ
• Review project plans and specifications, feedback on the interior fit-out and facade design and scheduling, and thus recommend possible cost savings measures and identify potential construction problemsŸ
• In charge of the design team carrying out façade design or related work.Ÿ
• Ensure design, drawings, and all other deliverables meet the standard requirements, and specifications and are within the scope of work.Ÿ
• Provide leadership and manage the team members professionally, e.g., allocating work, providing guidelines to them in drafting to maintain quality, improving productivity, checking drawings and cutting list profiles, etc.Ÿ
• Coordination between the Design Team, Consultants, Main Contractor, and other contractors.Ÿ
• Participate in workshops and lead, review, and comment of shop drawings in terms of constructability, and sequencing and ensure the quality of the design is maintained throughout.Ÿ

• Identify additional work/variations for the Project Manager / Contract Manager to process/approve the variation order.Ÿ To resolve any unforeseen interface problems throughout the various design phases.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor Of Science in Architecture
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Able to commit 6 working days
• Minimum 15 years of Facade experience in Singapore’s Main Contractor firm
• Familiar with Autocad and computer literate
• Must-Have Experience in high-rise facade
