DESCRIPTION

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applicants for two full-time positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full professor level in Statistics and Mathematics. Strong preference will be given to candidates in Statistics, but outstanding candidates in all fields may be considered.
Candidates are expected to be able to teach across range of courses in Mathematics and Statistics.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related fields from a reputable university that is, or can be recognized, by the UAE Ministry of Education.
Candidates for Assistant/Associate Professor should demonstrate an established excellent research record showing potential to publish in leading academic journals and a commitment to effective, high-quality teaching and service.
Candidates for Full Professor should have a proven record of high-quality publications, leadership in research areas and professional activities, and receiving external funding.
Candidates should also have a proven record of international leadership in the respective research areas and professional activities, in addition to the above-mentioned requirements.
