As an Assistant Branch Manager at Emirates NBD, your role is to support the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bank branch. This role includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving sales goals. The Assistant Branch Manager acts as a leader and role model, motivating staff and fostering a positive work environment.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of banking experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Ensure the branch is audit-ready and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and complaints professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve branch goals.
- Support branch staff in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop branch staff.
- Assist in monitoring and managing branch budgets and financial performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
- Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks within the branch.
