Assistant Brand Manager

Your Role at Petcurean:
The Assistant Brand Manager is a critical member of the brand team; responsible for assisting the Brand Manager in the global development of brand strategies and campaigns. You bring an analytical and consumer/data-centric mindset to your role, supporting the Brand Manager as they set direction for global brand growth.
The ABM will be working closely with the Marketing team, Innovation team and agency partners and, manage and support the development of brand strategies and campaigns to grow and measure our brand equity in key regions around the globe. You champion a spirit of “consumers first” and advocate for core global consumer segments within the team. You are an organized and effective marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and, can work effectively in a self-directed manner, while being a strong team player and collaborator.
This position will report to the Brand Manager and the successful candidate will be located in the Metro Vancouver or Fraser Valley areas.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER TO BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • A proven understanding of consumer marketing, with strong knowledge of fundamental marketing principles and practices
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills for uncovering category and consumer insights to help influence business decisions
  • Goal- and results-oriented with natural leadership and business skills
  • Strong time management and communication skills that will enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
