As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Working on new Apple launches with the ambition to be first to market worldwide on new products
• Management of promotional planning on Google Chrome liaising with brands such as: Lenovo, HP, ASUS, Acer and Samsung
• Helping to manage supplier relationships in line with the category strategy
• Keeping tabs on the competition so we can set competitive prices
• Analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business
• Support the Buyer and Senior Buyer in negotiating product ranges – cost pricing, additional terms, exclusivity, distribution, stock availability
• Pricing the product range in line with agreed category CPI targets

You will need:

• Established experience in buying or a similar role within a commercial function
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• To be organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment
• Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs
• Marketing/Merchandising/Retail/Business Degree
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
