Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Category Marketing Manager to join our Core Coffee marketing team. In this role, you will lead and execute key initiatives to drive the Mother Parkers North American Food Service (NAFS) portfolio for branded products and small Private Label accounts. You will development and deliver performance analysis, pricing and growth strategies, project management, innovation and product development support to our customers.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Category or Marketing role; private-label experience is beneficial.
  • Foodservice industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with the Coffee category and vendor relationship management is an asset.
  • Experience in developing: business and brand plans, compelling business strategies that drive financial metrics, and customer and consumer insights which lead to sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Strong sales and financial analytical capabilities, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Must have a can-do attitude with a bias for action, and has prudent decision making with an ability to work within formal and informal business teams.
  • Exhibits a high level of accountability and is able to hold others accountable through demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Thrives in an agile work environment – can adapt, persevere and respond quickly to change.
