Job Title: Assistant Catering Manager
Location: Blackrock College
Salary: Up to 42,000 Euros
As an Assistant Catering Manager at Sodexo in Blackrock College, you will be integral to supporting the management of our 7-day per week catering contract for a boarding and day school. Responsible for a team of 25 Sodexo staff, you will ensure smooth and efficient operations across catering and facilities services.
This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness while providing valuable support to the Business Manager. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of service our clients experience and help us deliver on our promises.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in managing the catering and facilities operations, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and service standards.
- Supervise and develop a team of 25 staff, handling recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the premises and ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Manage financial aspects of the contract, including budgeting, expenditure control, and reporting.
- Represent Sodexo at client meetings and assist with special functions, sometimes outside normal working hours.
- Handle customer complaints and incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and reporting.
