KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates Degree/Diploma in Catering Management or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in catering or related food service areas.
- Experience in Camp Facility catering industry.
- Good written and oral skills in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
- Must have experience and knowledge of the demands associated with working in an environment of large scale high quality food production
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge gained through experience and education.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Camp Facility Supervisor/ Manager to ensure staff/camp residents are meeting customer needs, booking demands and maintain high levels of catering provision to budget.
- Maintain high standards of record keeping by ordering supplies and monitoring stock control to ensure costs remain within budget.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in accordance with food hygiene health and safety regulations, ensure defects and breakdowns are reported correctly and assist the Camp Facility Manager with statutory risk assessments and COSHH related to catering functions.
- Monitor stock control and ordering records to establish accuracy of costs are within budget
- Identify staff performance and development related to catering and domestic requirements.
- Take an active role in service development, including attending meetings, minute taking assisting in service marketing strategy and undertake training deemed necessary.
- To undertake other duties appropriate to the Camp Facility Manager role, which may include weekend, evening and Bank Holiday working.
- Operate and control food related service, providing interesting and innovative menus, which are value for money.
- Adhere to existing company practices, methods, procedures and to respond positively to new and alternative system.
- Ensure standards of quality and service are constantly met as well as those related to Food hygiene and safety.
- Maintain high sanitation and safety standards in all catering storage rooms as well as other storage areas
