POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Channel Marketing Manager (Content Specialist) will support the Senior Channel Marketing Manager on planning and creating valuable digital and social content to attract customers and enhance the chef journey. This role aims to drive touchpoint engagement and sales within the Asian segment in the US and Canada.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCES

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related field from an accredited university; and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidate must possess working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel (including VLOOKUP, and PowerPivot), PowerPoint. Knowledge and experience in Power BI and SAP Hana is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and clearly communicate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and external vendors.
  • Strong communications, customer service, comprehension, and project management skills.
  • Experiences in digital advertising, social media, content creation, media production, community outreach, and engagement
  • Experience in food industry/foodservice industry is a plus.
  • Experience in both U.S. and Canada Market is preferred.
  • Must be detailed-oriented, thorough, and organized.
  • Must have the ability to define problems, analyze data, apply concrete sales principles through data gathering and analysis, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • The individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Bilingual skill in both written and verbal English and Chinese is required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as probabilities and statistical inference to forecast annual sales and budget.
  • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical sales instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with a verity of abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Executes digital and social media content that effectively promotes the brand and engages the target audience in the US and Canada Asian food service community. The focus is on driving both the lifecycle of chefs and restaurants and achieving customer goals throughout the buying journey.
  • Gets a deep understanding of different chefs and restaurants within the food service market and uses these insights to create contents for loyalty and reward programs.
  • Communicates with Asian chefs and communities about the benefits, innovations, uses, and solutions our products offer.
  • Leads Asian food service digital and social campaign, including briefing, managing, preparing, executing, optimizing, and evaluating the campaigns.
  • Follows up with customer enquiries and works closely with the sales team to address the customer questions and follow through to close sales.
  • Acts as the guardian of App and its content, ensuring it is up-to-date, performs well, and effectively engages chefs in the US and Canada.
  • Collaborates with agencies, vendors, internal teams to manage social media, create content (recipe, image, videos, etc.), prepare multi-language translations, execute advertising campaigns, and manage PR activities as needed.
  • Collaborates with chefs on recipe development and new menu ideation.
  • Leads and manages individual projects to achieve objectives within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
