Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

At Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica , the Assistant Chief Concierge plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Concierge to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth operation of the Concierge Desk. This position is essential for managing guest interactions, overseeing concierge staff, and maintaining up-to-date information on local attractions to enhance the overall guest experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide high-level hospitality and professionalism in all guest interactions, handling special requests, inquiries, and complaints with efficiency.
  • Assist the Chief Concierge in managing daily Concierge Desk operations, ensuring all guest requests are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Supervise and mentor Concierge Desk staff, including conducting performance evaluations and managing schedules.
  • Process incoming and outgoing packages, messages, and mail accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain current and accurate information on local restaurants, attractions, and events, and build relationships with local vendors to facilitate guest reservations and ticketing.
  • Ensure compliance with Four Seasons’ policies and procedures, including Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Support the storage and retrieval of guest luggage and packages as needed.
  • Utilize various software programs to manage guest arrangements and ensure correct billing.
