The role of Assistant Manager is integral to the success of any hospitality business. You are the eyes and ears on the ground; collecting feedback from customers and team to share with your management team. You support the manager with back of house tasks as well as ensuring the smooth and successful service is happening each day. We take the role of Assistant Manager very seriously at WatchHouse, as we see them as the future managers of the business. • Lead, inspire and motivate the team so that everyone performs to their absolute best, alongside the House Manager. Effectively managing the large team on site and working alongside them to deliver the Modern Coffee experience.
• Drive to build a high performing House focusing on KPIs. Continuing to look for ways to drive your shop’s financial performance.
• A people-focused Manager, always getting the best from the people around them.
• Demonstrate unparalleled hospitality by creating a warm, positive and welcoming atmosphere. High standards of food and beverage service in a fast paced environment.
• Ensure opens and closes run smoothly, admin and issues are dealt with proactively, and the cafe is always appropriately stocked with products and equipment.
