REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong customer service background
  • Technically savvy, and proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Good physical conditioning and stamina
  • Willingness to work outside as required
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Some knowledge of what repairs and maintenance are required on a building
  • Ability to complete general in-suite repairs and maintenance, using a variety of hand tools
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act, not required, but an asset

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Satisfactory credit and criminal record check.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Highstreet’s standard of appearance, upkeep, cleaning and maintenance within your community
  • Assist the Community Leader with screening of prospects and assist with leasing as required
  • Assist the Community Leader in maintaining the look and feel of the community by enforcing the community promises
  • Collecting quotes and coordinating trades on site; holding them accountable and ensuring work is completed on time
  • Helping resolve Community Member maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Filling out reports and handing out notices as required
  • Organizing folders, files, emails, keys, paperwork, and promotional materials
  • Working with MS Office, Property Management software and other computer programs
  • Support event organization and Community Member engagement
  • Posting updates to the community Facebook group
  • Being on call during weekends and evenings on a rotational basis with your on-site colleague
  • Ability to do light repair work like patching and paint is not required but is an asset
  • Standard work week would be Tuesday to Saturda
