Description:
Wise May are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join a busy International Insurance business in the City.
The candidate should be flexible and able to work under pressure to ensure the company delivers against its objectives in a timely manner.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to work with colleagues and clients at all levels
- In depth knowledge of a Company Secretary role is essential due to the demands of the position

Responsibilities:
- This includes taking meeting minutes, generating director’s resolutions, maintaining statutory books and submitting filings to Companies House and HMRC
- Providing guidance to the board on how to execute their responsibilities and comply with company law
- Ensuring that legal and statutory requirements are met
- Responsible for the preparation of Board and Committee meeting packs, via PDF and also via Meeting pack software
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and make recommendations on action to be taken to remain in full compliance
- Maintaining an awareness of relevant legislation and adjusting company records accordingly
