We are looking for an Assistant Construction Design Management (CDM) Consultant to join our team - join us as we continue an exciting period of growth and change.
REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:
The Assistant H&S/CDM Consultant role will involve working closely with the Health and Safety team, providing support to the team whilst improving your knowledge and skills to generate, promote and maintain a positive health, safety and environmental culture.
- Support the consultant team with the delivery of Principal Designer duties in accordance with CDM 2015.
- Support our Consultant Team with advising the Project Design Team members, including client organisations, on Health and Safety risk management matters.
- Support Consultants with critical appraisal of Design Risk Assessments submitted by the Project Design Team.
- Assist with the updating of CDM Compliance Registers and completion of Design Risk Assessments.
- Assist with the preparation of Health and Safety project documentation.
- Learn key communication skills with contractors, designers, and clients.
- Understanding how designers comply with CDM 2015 regulations.
- Assist with the planning, coordination and management of the pre-construction phase of projects.
- Assist with the development / review of project pre-construction information.
- Attend construction site CDM Audits to review management arrangements on the clients behalf.
- Attending design, pre-construction site meetings and progress meetings.
- Assisting in carrying out design risk reviews.
- Provide support to consultants on more complex and challenging projects.
- Always take personal responsibility for the Health and Safety of self and others by working within the Health and Safety policy and procedures.
