JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Assistant Construction Manager at Millennium 3, you will play a crucial role in supporting the construction management team in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring their successful completion within specified timelines and budgetary constraints. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in built environment, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in construction management or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to meet project objectives.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on construction sites.
  • Assist in reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve construction-related issues and conflicts.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, project documentation, and other relevant materials.
  • Support in conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure adherence to project requirements.
  • Assist in managing relationships with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to construction management.
