With multiple legal entities and offices across Canada, the United States, Spain, and Germany, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Controller to join our finance team and support our continued growth and success.
As the Assistant Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, managing all aspects of accounting such as payables, receivables, payroll, internal and external audits, global tax compliance, and financial reporting activities across our various legal entities. You will own the entire accounting cycle and ensure the timely completion of financial month-end closings for all legal entities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, analysis, and accounting operations, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP; familiarity with international accounting standards is an asset.
  • Experience managing financial operations across multiple legal entities and geographic regions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills including SQL Queries and Macros.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, take accountability and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
