The Helicopter business unit consists of 5 main facilities in North America and Asia that support 5 unique OEM products. In addition to providing accounting and financial support to the business unit the successful candidate will help drive business success by working cross functionally on a variety of initiatives.

WHAT SKILLS YOU WILL REQUIRE:

  • High degree of business acumen and ability to work cross functionally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Is a team player who thrives in an ever-challenging environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Experience building and interpreting intermediate to complex financial models
  • Possess recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA) or is very close to achieving a designation

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate day to day financial operations and assist with monthly reporting requirements and month-end close including reviewing and reporting significant operational/financial variances
  • Participate in the creation of the annual operating plan for the business unit by planning expenses and working capital
  • Prepare monthly finance control panels consisting of sales, GM, expense and TWC variance analysis
  • Provide financial and business guidance to other functional groups within the business unit
  • Manage business unit p-card review and approval process
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for the completion of the annual audit
  • Monitor & Administer company financial policies and proceduresLead/Participate in special projects
