JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Controller to join our dynamic property management team. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in supporting the Controller with the accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and implementing controls and budgets to manage financial risk. This role will also involve assisting with strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and helping to enhance the accuracy of financial results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is preferred, or CPA certification is actively pursued.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the property management industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience with Yardi Voyageur Property Management Software, Payworks Payroll Processing Software, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
