Description:
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to support our financial department. The Assistant Controller will assist in managing financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM!
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration majoring in Accounting is preferred
- CPA or similar certification
- 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- You will need advanced financial analytic and problem-solving skills to understand, explain and resolve complex business issues – we like to hire people who can think outside the box and think through problems to develop solutions quickly
- You will need strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with all levels in the organization
- You will have hands-on experience providing analytical support to the Operations/Manufacturing Team
- You will need advanced presentation/interactive skills with the demonstrated ability to convey information/ideas to groups of people
- You will know all the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel
- You’re a self-motivator, highly effective working independently or within a team
- You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, ready to jump in quickly to set up a plan and be diligent
- Organization and time management will be critical to your success, taking on several projects at once and adapting quickly to new situations
- You have a passion for continuous improvement
