Description:
We are seeking a Controller for a franchise hotel location in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with auditing financials, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and reviewing processes. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the hospitality industry. 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Audit financial documents and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring all financial data aligns and there are no discrepancies
- Analyze and clean up outstanding accounts receivables
- Oversee invoicing procedures and ensure they comply with financial policies and regulations
- Conduct a thorough review of all financial processes, identifying areas for improvement
- Utilize various software systems, including CRM and Crystal Reports, to streamline accounting functions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Employ your knowledge of budget processes to assist in financial planning and forecasting
- Use your skills in ADP - Financial Services to manage and process financial data
- Perform auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance and integrity.
- Experience in the hospitality industry
Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
- Experience with CRM
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports
- Understanding of Accounting Functions
- Skill in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in Auditing
- Knowledge of Budget Processes
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
