This role is a remote position and the person can sit out of the In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and training a team of three accounting professionals, overseeing technical accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This role will also require hands-on involvement in day-to-day accounting procedures and the coordination of audit preparation.

• Supervise, guide, and train a team of three accounting professionals, fostering a productive work environment.
• Oversee the execution of technical accounting processes, including system management and advanced Excel operations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP in all accounting operations and reporting.
• Oversee and manage the completion of monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Actively participate in day-to-day accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and train others.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances and developing improvements.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across teams, providing support and guidance when needed.
• Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and procedures to ensure best practices.
• Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
