JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
7 plus years of experience in a full cycle accounting role.
Highly experienced in overseeing all aspects of the full cycle of accounting.
Excellent understanding of tax laws and regulatory standards in the US and Mexico.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to anticipate financial trends and outcomes.
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate independently with minimal guidance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are a private logistics company with operations in the US and Mexico. We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial minded Accounting Manager to supervise all accounting operations of the company.

KEY DUTIES:

Oversee the full cycle of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory management.
Assist with the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries.
Prepare regular financial reports and present them to the company executives.
Regularly conduct financial statement analysis to identify potential cost-saving measures and areas for revenue growth.
Partner with the Controller to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
Ensure the company complies with all tax regulations and filings in both the US and Mexico.
Collaborate with the 3rd party PEO provider to handle matters related to payroll and benefits.
Regular assessment of internal controls and implementation of new controls to reduce risk.
Monitor the financial performance of the company and report any discrepancies or issues to the Controller.
