Description:

SUMMARY

The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Coordinator, for Clinical Research to provide research support in ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, efficient, and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in accepting work assignments with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, understand processes, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with and contribute to studies on clinical ELSI topics.
  • Help with survey programming and data management to ensure quality and identify and address issues as they arise.
  • Conduct literature searches and summarize information.
  • Build reports based on findings for research team and collaborators.
  • Assist with preparation of papers and presentations for dissemination of findings.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
