JOB SCOPE OF ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

• Perform financial counselling and basic hearing aid counselling for patients.
• Conduct triaging for all patients referred for hearing aid and tinnitus management services.
• Manage all related allied health administrative paperwork and appointments.
• Process and track all hearing aid orders, delivery, and invoices.
• Ensure proper and smooth application and tracking of relevant fundings for needy patients who need hearing aids.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

• Possess at least a NITEC or equivalent education certification with relevant discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

• Fresh graduates are welcome. Clinical experience not required.
• Previous experience working in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 3 to 6 months on-the-job training supervised by a Coordinator is required.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Can work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Possess a passion for helping people with hearing loss and other disabilities.
