Job Title: Assistant Data Analyst Responsible to: Senior Data Analyst, Chief Operating Officer Salary: Location: 25 John Wilson Street, Woolwich, London, SE18 6PZ Hours of work: 40 hours Key Relationships: Greenwich Health Directors (GHD), Greenwich Clinical Commissioning Group (GCCG), The Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG), Greenwich Primary Care Networks (PCNs), Member Practices. Greenwich Health Greenwich Health is committed to providing quality to care to our patients whilst building resilience for General Practice and delivering services and programmes of work to deliver care at scale to the Greenwich Population. The post holder will be required to support Greenwich Health, local PCNs and practices need for improved analytics to identify the clinical & non-clinical functions that should be prioritised for further development, measure success of existing services and support each organisation to achieve improved patient outcomes & maximise efficient delivery of existing contracts. Job Summary Provide data analytics support to the organisations strategic goals, contract and KPI monitoring through a range of software solutions and centralised data extract tools to facilitate remote analysis of practice and service performance for all practices.
Develop reports, templates, and dashboards using Data Management tools. Generate and present regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis to senior management and directors for presentation at contract reviews and monitoring with commissioners, offering insight into trend analysis and service improvement and development opportunities. Utilise Excel skills to create reports, transform data, and present findings. Provide the clinical governance team with data to facilitate ongoing regular audits required for the service provision and identify data validation/quality issues, ensuring appropriate processes and procedures are followed to validate all data sets.
Assist in the collection, extraction, and cleaning of data. Support the data team in analysis and interpretation of data. Help create clear visual representations of data to communicate findings. Learn and implement new tools and techniques under the guidance of senior analysts.
Support the data engineer in testing applications, processes, and software under development and providing feedback. Attend relevant meetings both internally and externally to present data findings/analysis to support decision making and report on progress. Assist Information Governance processes, including completion of the DSP Toolkit, GDPR compliance, and Caldicott requirements, and prepare DSA for relevant third parties using the Data Controller Console. Engage in the delivery of a variety of project streams.

The level of project involvement will range from providing support to senior management to taking a lead on the delivery depending on the size and relevance of the project. General Duties To undertake any other work appropriate to the level and general nature of the posts duties as required. To deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Communication and Relationship Skills - Demonstrate excellent communication skills when working with the internal team as well as external.
