• At least 50% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation in the field of mechatronic systems and digital twins in order to enhance the machine performance.
• You will assist in the teaching activities at the department, specifically courses on mechatronics and machine optimalisation, mainly at the Kortrijk campus.
• You will also supervise master thesis students both at the campuses in Kortrijk and Schoonmeersen (Gent).
• You will assist in the internal and external services of the department.
