The Community Development and Engagement; Lands and Resources; and Health, Justice and Social Services divisions manage Indigenous strategic policy initiatives, negotiations and external relations. The divisions lead the Secretariat’s reconciliation intelligence function, which drives informed decision-making across the Secretariat and government. The divisions provide corporate policy support to the central Secretariat. We are looking for an Assistant Deputy Minister to provide executive leadership to the delivery of a substantial and diverse policy portfolio, setting the strategic direction of research and analysis, development, evaluation and reporting to ensure delivery of the Secretariat’s policy agenda and initiatives. This includes providing leadership in the development and implementation of legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
