Assistant Designer/ Merchandiser

at  HR Affiliates

• Manage production orders and merchandising enquiries
• Liaise with our factories in China and other countries
• Carry out development in accordance to buyer’s specification and requirement.
• Follow up on sample review, comments and ensure accordance to specification.
• To handle garment bulk order and monitor production progress with factories.
• Manage production processes, time & action calendar, delivery scheduling in production of apparel/ accessories
• Garment workmanship and detailed translations when needed
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties where required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Fashion merchandising or equivalent
• 2 years of working experience in the garment industry preferred but candidates without experience are welcome to apply
• Proficient in CAD/ Design Software, Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook, Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English and Chinese for communicating with factories in China.
• Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Mature, meticulous and able to multi–task
