    About the Engagement & Communications branch
    The Engagement and Communications branch plays a central role in engaging audiences on APS wide priorities including integrity and conduct, capability, workforce management policy, engaging and partnering with people, communities and businesses.
    We create opportunities for genuine partnership and engagement with our colleagues across the APS to create engaging content on a variety of APS wide channels. We work closely with partners in and outside the APS to get maximum engagement, reach and impact. We partner across the APS, at all levels and engage with people, communities, business and other sectors, to build ideas and momentum that drive change.
    We are seeking leaders who thrive on change, love a challenge, are people focussed, can identify problems, are empathetic and find solutions.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking Assistant Directors who are not only innovative and proactive but also capable of leading a team. Together, we are leading transformative changes across the APS to enhance integrity, bolster capabilities, and cultivate thriving work culture.
We are a small branch that operate in a dynamic fast paced environment, working together to accomplish our key priorities.
If you are a leader with a talent for generating fresh ideas and have the determination to see them through, we want you on board.
We are specifically seeking communication experts to fill both current and future vacancies across a number of our function and lead crucial APS wide transformations. Whether you excel in strategic communications, digital communications, social media, media relations, graphic design or event management, your experience and enthusiasm will be invaluable.
Above all, you should be a natural leader, capable of taking charge, prioritising the needs of your team, and translating vision into action.
Exceptional communication skills, a team player, a master at building stakeholder relationships, and a proven track record of leadership is essential.
