Description:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Accounting or Finance (with Accounting 3 as a major subject); A minimum of 3 years accounting experience in municipal accounting in a finance department; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence;

Responsibilities:

Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to assist with the implementation of Generally Recognised Accounting Practices (GRAP), conformance with relevant laws and regulations, the development of management accounting information and the development of Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA) in order to enhance business decision-making and good governance.
