Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Three to five years’ experience in higher education, fundraising, non-profit, communications or stewardship or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with associated email marketing platforms and CRM system.
  • Proficiency using Excel and formulas for purposes of data analysis and/or Tableau, Good Analytics, etc.
  • Proven experience in fundraising communications, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to communicate, solicit, steward effectively with large audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen awareness of tone, style, and message consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Execute annual multi-channel giving campaigns to address the College’s priority of increasing revenue through The Fund for Providence College, effectively soliciting diverse segments including alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends.
  • Lead the creation and deployment of messaging around key initiatives such as giving days, primarily Friars Give, and other strategic programs, including giving societies, faculty and staff, student, parent, and reunion efforts, to further enhance fundraising success and achieve financial and participation goals.
  • Develop collateral and assets, including but not limited to web content, copy and paste language for proposals and social posts, designed to support colleagues in their work to secure current-use funds, primarily through The Fund for Providence College.
  • Build a robust retention program to ensure ongoing donor engagement within the annual giving program with a primary focus on renewing and upgrading donors through The Fund for Providence College.
  • Additional duties associated with strengthening the College’s annual giving program and culture of philanthropy.
