Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The person in this position is responsible for multiple aspects of the marketing of university students as valuable employees and the importance of learning transferable and academically relevant skills. This position includes building relationships with employers; setting up both on and off campus interviews, career fairs, and networking events; and coordinating other related work. This role may require occasional travel.

Department- Specific Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and management of relationships with multiple on-campus and off-campus stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the Associate Director of Employer Relations to develop bridges between employing (external) organizations and student/alumni job seekers through an understanding of academic programs, industry trends, and workforce pipeline needs.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of recruitment fairs and experiential events the create meaningful interactions between students and employers.
  • Works collaboratively with school colleagues and campus partners to execute strategies related to employer connections and career metrics.

General Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and markets on-campus recruitment events to connect students with potential employers.
  • Assists with managing relationships with employers and alumni through regular communication.
  • Assists with implementing large-scale and/or off-campus events and participates in planning, employer relations, student marketing, event execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Helps coordinate the logistics and scheduling of information sessions, on-campus interviews, class presentations, and networking events hosted by the career center, featuring alumni and employer representatives.
  • Oversees the online job and internship posting process and makes critical decisions during the review process to ensure all postings adhere to office and campus policies.
  • Interprets and enforces policies pertinent to third-party recruiting and other employment conditions.
  • Reports and analyzes recruiting data for detailed, annual evaluation.
  • Meets regularly with colleagues to assist with analyzing recruitment trends and plan employer relations strategies that enhance existing relationships and identify new opportunities.
