Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. As the ADON, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional nursing care, supporting the Director of Nursing (DON), and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing operations to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to monitor care standards and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programs to promote professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimal care delivery.
  • Address resident and family concerns with compassion and professionalism, fostering positive relationships.
  • Stay updated on best practices, trends, and regulations in nursing and healthcare management.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current, active licensure [state/country-specific].
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive work environment.
