Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will be responsible for providing contemporary operational and professional nursing leadership for the Surgery & Critical Care Service Line. The role shapes clinical and corporate governance; and provides the coordination of service delivery, human and material management, expertise in health care team communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision. The role works collaboratively and supports the Health Service priorities and the strategic direction and vision for the nursing profession.
The role will be actively involved in the preparation for, and commissioning of Stage 2 of the Logan Hospital Expansion Program and participate in the senior nursing and midwifery leadership of the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service more broadly.
