Job description
CONNECT TO YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a professional with Procurement & Supply Chain management experience working with Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management (FM) functions to join our advisory team as an Assistant Director. We are open to applications from people with a considerable level of professional experience within consulting or within industry.
As an Assistant Director in the team, you will be expected to lead client engagements across a range of industries.
Our recent engagements include:
- Development of CREFM procurement strategies for high profile, multi-billion dollar facilities and workplace services transformation programmes.
- Design of a property and supply chain transformation programme for a large UK public sector client.
- Creation and implementation of a procurement strategy for a global private sector tender of CRE & FM activities across the organisations entire real estate portfolio, including preparation of tender materials through to supplier negotiations.
- Development of a CRE and FM strategy for the delivery of a high-profile facilities and workplace services transformation programme.
- Design and establishment of a new target operating model for a client organisation, including the supply chain and service delivery models.
- Preparation of robust business cases supported by detailed strategic sourcing and category plans, including an in-depth analysis of potential service delivery models.
There are four key reasons this opportunity presents an excellent opportunity for successful applicants:
- You will work with the biggest clients, global organisations
We work with the world’s largest and most influential organisations. In addition to our public sector focus, we support a cross sector of global private sector organisations (including Financial Services, Energy, and Life Sciences, Telecoms and Technology) with significant Real Estate portfolio and Facilities Management requirements.
- You will work on the most relevant, pressing, and complex challenges
There has never been a more exciting time to work with our clients on the challenges they face.
Our clients’ Real Estate and FM teams are supporting their organisations to evolve to embrace the future of work and adapt to post-pandemic ways of working. Their employees are acting as consumers, making choices about when / how / why they consume space and physical space can play a key role in attracting talent for the best organisations. However, the economic environment provides critical challenges such as the need to significantly reduce cost, through leveraging new / lower cost locations, reducing portfolio size, restructuring the supply chain and service delivery models and making an impact on the bottom line by lowering operational spend.
These are generational challenges for our clients in the private sector, with which they need our support.
- You will engage with senior stakeholder of organisations
The breadth, strategic importance and complexity of our clients’ challenges mean we work with colleagues from across Deloitte (e.g. Human Capital, Digital), and engage with the C-suite in our clients’ organisations. We frequently engage with CEOs, COOs, CFOs, HR Directors of FTSE 100 organisations.
- You will be part of a high performing team with the opportunities to develop your career in a large professional services firm and the opportunities that can provide
We take personal development seriously, offering a comprehensive range of learning and development opportunities within a stretching yet highly supportive environment. Our appraisal process is structured, transparent and interactive so you will receive continuous training and ongoing supportive feedback to achieve the goals that you set yourself.
