POSITION SUMMARY

This Assistant District Attorney position is a full-time position to be filled in the District Attorney’s office for Clark County, located in Neillsville, WI. This is a State position in the unclassified service. Clark County is a quaint community in North Central Wisconsin, but under an hour from Eau Claire, Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids. This is a small office making a big impact in rural Wisconsin, consisting of the District Attorney, an Assistant District Attorney, two legal assistants, an office manager/paralegal, and a victim witness coordinator. The Assistant District Attorney will be assigned their own legal assistant. Through vertical prosecution the Assistant District Attorney is able to create great working relationships with local law enforcement agencies, the courts, and defense counsel. Caseload may allow for specialization in certain areas. Some remote work will be allowed. In addition, at least half of your State Bar Dues are paid by Clark County.
