Assistant Engineer

• Identify critical machine parts and stock in accordingly to minimize machine idle time.
• Manage spare part store and inventory within cost budget.
• Perform machine setup and ensure smooth machine run prior handover to production.
• Responsible for factory routine / ad-hoc / maintenance task.
• Plan and execute total preventive & corrective maintenance for different functional machine /equipment/facility.
• Assist Engineering function for new machine/line introduction in terms of design and implementation.
• Liaise with various vendors for job quotation & retrofit of machine.
• Work according to 5S principle and company safety regulation.
• Maintain up to date maintenance schedule, procedures, machine manual, risk assessment, check list and establish new SOP if necessary.
• Guide and train the team member to enhance their technical knowledge.
• Key maintenance personnel to lead a team of maintenance technicians for assigned duty.Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in electrical or relevant engineering with 3 years relevant experience in equipment and facility maintenance.
• Hands-on experiences for motor, pumps, formulation tank, scrubber, dust collector, chiller and air compressor will be an added advantage.Have relevant Engineer Certificate, for example: Manage work at height, Risk Assessment Cert preferably.
