Assistant Engineer (IT network systems) / AMK / 5 days

Involve in one or more teams in supporting and maintaining systems, keep them up and running smoothly

• Report to the Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager and in fulfilling SLA and KPI in accordance to maintenance contractual agreement.
• Assist Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager to deliver contract obligation within budget.
• Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To perform routine Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures, involving fault troubleshooting, diagnosis & replacement of equipment/module/component at sites and/or workshop.
• Liaison with procurement and equipment vendors.
• Perform 24/7 off-site standby for fault activation after office hours.
• Arrange and attend monthly meeting with customers.
• Provide engineering services such as engineering reports, supply support, configuration control and management and obsolescence management.
• Provide solutions to technical problem associate with RF communication systems.

• Work location at Ang Mo Kio or Integrated Work Force (IWF) at customer premises if required. Office hours – 8.30am to 6pm. 5 days work weekRequired to travel to sites for work

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3-year experience in a similar engineering-related capacity. Fresh graduates may be also considered.
• Positive work ethics and team player.
• Takes ownership of responsibilities.
• Thrive in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional environments
• Able to work effectively in an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Preferably with some knowledge in Data Analytics (e.g. failure trending/patterns)
• Preferably with experience in System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines is highly preferred (Radio Communications, basic networking skills, computer/servers, embedded systems and/or UPS). Other Engineering-related experience maybe considered.
• Evident in written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Words, Power-point & Excel)
• Preferably with Class 3 Driving License
