Assistant Environmental Consultant, SOCOTEC, Reading
To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Environment and Safety Division. SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive range of environmental monitoring and consultancy services to help companies fulfil their legal obligations and to comply with environmental regulations. Our expert field teams provide national coverage and tailored services including site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation and consultancy. Our qualified and highly talented field consultants provide environmental analysis, environmental monitoring and consultancy services to assist clients in complying with legislation.
We’re looking for an Assistant Environmental Consultant to join our team in the Reading office, undertaking various roles including:
- Soil and water sampling
- Supervision of ground investigation and remediation
- Environmental monitoring
- Factual and interpretative reporting across a range of technical disciplines

- Full UK driving licence

- Excellent IT skills including MS Office applications and a selection of industry specific specialist packages
- Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home for project work
