Description:
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our Poznan office as a part of our Finance Global Operations team, coordinating with regional & global office accounting teams, firm colleagues and application support team.
In our new support model some support services are provided by our colleagues in our globally operating Shared Service centers, situated at various locations across the globe. One such location is Poznan, providing services in the fields of Finance, Human Resources, Assistant Support, and Business Presentations to McKinsey colleagues in the EMEA region.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree, preferably with focus on finance & accounting
- Good verbal and written language skills both in Polish and English (B2 - CEFR* or equivalent)
- Basic accounting/finance knowledge/experience is welcome
- Analytical thinking and basic problem solving skills
- Distinct quality mindset and attention to detail
- Strong process focus and drive for results
- Ability to work and stay focused under pressure, manage urgent tasks against strict timelines
- Solid communication skills to tailor messages over the phone or via email
- Ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships with others and to effectively contribute to a highly collaborative work environment

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Finance Associate you`ll be working in international environment and you’ll be responsible for a combination of accounting tasks such as checking, editing and processing administrative and financial data.
You’ll process data and assist in providing basic analytical support, problem solving, and data interpretation and ensure compliance with country- and McKinsey specific expense regulations and policies. You’ll respond to colleagues’ inquiries on financial policies and tools (e.g. expense reporting tool).
