Description:
As an Assistant Finance & Business Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial and business functions of the hotel. You will work closely with the Head of Finance & Business Support to ensure the efficient operation of the finance department, contributing to the hotel’s financial success and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, identifying trends and variances.
- Support the monitoring of financial performance and budget adherence.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
- Collaborate in the development and execution of the hotel’s financial strategy.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
- Provide financial data and insights to assist in decision-making.
- Work with various departments to assess and improve business processes.
- Assist in conducting financial feasibility studies and analysis for projects and investments.
- Contribute to business development efforts and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to cash flow management, ensuring funds are available for operational needs.
- Support treasury and cash management practices.
- Assist in identifying financial risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
- Participate in colleague training and development initiatives.
- Support cost-control measures while maintaining quality and service standards.
