WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re preferably looking for someone who has a proven track record in financial management. Specifically, with checking and validating project reporting and providing exceptional customer service.

You will have a strong eye for detail on financial data. Demonstrated experience working in a flexible and agile environment with changing demands is highly desirable, as is your experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in financial management and analysis.
  • Experience with financial systems, reporting and project support.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Manager, Finance Controls & Accounting, the key responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Carry out financial management and administrative tasks using appropriate systems and processes, to meet financial, governance and delivery outcomes.
  • Provide financial project support, including monitoring and reporting on project milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved budgets and objectives.
  • Update and collate documentation and to ensure project reporting complies with agreed project management methodology.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project financial status.
  • Provide a range of financial services, to support project management and delivery.
  • Collaborate with peers to share learnings, develop efficient work practices, and assist in crisis events in other local or regional areas.
