Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit a full time Assistant Financial Accountant to work in our busy accounts department. Your principal responsibilities will be working cashbook and general ledger. In addition, you will provide assistance in the preparation of the management accounts.
You will work closely with other members of the finance team.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Managing the company’s cashbook entering receipts/payments.
  • Completing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Setting up payments in the bank.
  • Overheads cost accruals and prepayment accounting.
  • Payroll cost accounting and reconciliations.
  • Managing the company’s fixed asset register.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts as required.
  • Undertaking any additional tasks as may be reasonably required from time to time.
