THE ROLE

• Month end accounts, including reviewing results, conducting variance analysis and working with business partners to understand drivers or corrections
• Preparation of statutory financial statements
• Identify, raise and provide insights and recommendations on financial accounting issues based on interpretation of accounting standards and other changes to reporting frameworks
• Compliance with FBT regulations and lodgment of returns and all relevant statutory obligations
• Assist financial processes, procedures, policies and internal controls
• Monthly completion of balance sheet reconciliations for review by Management and Auditors
• Assist the internal / external audit processes and liaise with Auditors
• Aged Care Financial Reporting and Quarterly Financial Reporting processes and submission
• Provide leadership and development to Financial Control team
• 2IC to Financial Controller
• Assist with technical accounting advice
• Responsible for the fixed assets register, leases and banking reconciliations
• Responsible for UK business partnering, financial statements, budgeting, consolidation and audit.
• Various project work and ad hoc tasks as required
