We are currently seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented, guest and people focused Assistant Food Beverage Manager to join our Food Beverage Leadership team.
Our nine bars and restaurants span the FB spectrum, from the theatre of fine dining, to the pace and scale of banqueting and the relaxed flare of bar food, Italian brasserie and Indian cuisine to signature drinks, vintage Champagnes and some serious glamour in our very own 1920s cocktail lounge.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our HODs with a hands-on approach, you’ll be highly visible across our full FB operation, essential in ensuring the ultimate satisfaction for our guests through your active involvement in all service elements
  • A key part of the daily running of the FB division, you’ll be present during shift briefings, hosting or co-hosting the daily meetings with a razor-sharp focus on VIPs, Forbes, LQA and Gleneagles Way standards and our vast array of events
  • You’ll make sure the ambiance and standards of presentation of our outlets are of the highest standard at all times; managing any guest concerns during service and beyond with the utmost professionalism, bringing these to resolution swiftly and effectively
  • Striving to see our service through our guests’ eyes, you’ll take every opportunity to ensure their Gleneagles experience is exceptional
  • Setting the tone and leading by example, you’ll be developing a team culture where your team feel valued and convey this warmth and thoughtfulness to others through the delivery of exceptional service
  • Supporting our senior FB leadership team with the planning and resourcing of our people resource throughout the division
  • Facilitating a strong flow of communication throughout FB, building strong working relationships with our Culinary brigade and your colleagues across the estate
  • Supporting our VIP recognition programme, proactively sharing key details with your relevant colleagues and departments
  • Working with our FB Development Partner, you’ll be actively involved in the scheduling and implementation of FB training and development
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
