Description:

The Galway Bay Hotel is excited to announce that we are seeking to recruit for the position of an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our friendly Front Office team. You will lead and support a great team to ensure our guests receive a warm and efficient welcome for every stay.

Responsibilities:

  • To Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of managing the Front Office.
  • To offer and deliver a first class service delivery to all guests at all times.
  • To maximise bookings and sales in all areas dealt with at Reception and to achieve monthly targets.
  • To lead your team to ensure confidence, knowledge and expertise required maximising sales and reaching set targets.
  • To ensure an excellent standard of customer care and professionalism are achieved at all times.
  • To train each and every staff member in the department to ensure standards and sales required are met and continually achieved.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the day to day running and development of the Reception area, ensuring good organisation, effective and efficient systems, professionalism of staff and service offered, imputing of new policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of all Hotel facilities among the entire Front office team.
  • To promote a safe working environment and be aware of Health, Safety and Fire Procedures.
  • To offer the highest level of guest service in the Hotel, ensuring the 4* agreed standards are achieved at all times.
  • To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming and to wear relevant uniform and name badge at all times.
