Description:
The Metropole Hotel are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager who is passionate about their role and their career progression.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure day & night teams synergies & work together as one department
- Recruitment of staff for the Front Office on an ongoing basis, to maintain the talent bank
- To develop, motivate and carry out one-week reviews, job chats & Performance Review of all Front Office Staff
- To oversee and implement all staff training within Front Office and to ensure that signed training records are kept
- To maximize room sales always and ensure that all Front Office staff are focused on the team’s sales objective
- To set monthly incentives and targets for all Front Office staff and feedback results
- To prepare the rota for all Front Office staff and to forecast weekly wages
- To have a complete understanding of all aspects of Night Audit operations and carry out on an intermittent basis
- To report any comments, complaints and compliments to the General Manager
- To ensure a high level of personal/work cleanliness and hygiene within the department.
- To ensure all duties are carried out in a safe manner regarding the Health & Safety/welfare of themselves, other members of staff, guests, or any other persons on Hotel’s premises
- Employees avail themselves to training and communication meetings as required, for which notice will always be given
- Monitor & control holidays & lieu time monthly
- Regularly review SOP Manuals
- Proactive customer relations
