We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, quality food, and a positive work environment. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining operational standards, handling customer relations, and supporting the growth of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Provide leadership during shifts and maintain a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
  • Assist with scheduling and payroll.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve performance.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including cost control and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage operational processes, financials, and inventory.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of restaurant industry trends, best practices, and health/safety regulations.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
