OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and management of our organization. This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the Entertainment or Hospitality Industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of financial management principles
  • A minimum of 3 years management and staff supervision experience, preferably at a public attraction.
  • Ability to train and develop others to succeed through coaching and talent management

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company goals, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing company standards and procedures
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
