At Heckfield we prepare food and drink that celebrates simplicity, the seasons, and a sense of place. When the sun sets, the Moon bar comes to life. With drinks and infusions made with the freshest ingredients, the Moon bar is the house’s most intimate of meeting places. In our Bars we also celebrate anything that comes from our land as well as a strong zero-waste drive to send our team and our guests on a journey of educations and discovery.
We are currently looking for an Assistant House and Bars Manager to join our growing Team.

• Manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day bar operations.
• Check Booking Sheets for confirmed and unconfirmed lunch and dinner shift to ensure all guest requests are met.
• Ensure Bars are set-up and closed to the required standard.
• Maintain beverage storage spaces.
• Inspect any deliveries to ensure stock is present, correct and undamaged.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints.
• Check menus daily with the Kitchen and ensure those in circulation are correct, along with correct allergen information.
• Train, nurture and inspire the team by being positive and forward thinking.
• Hosting informative shift briefings and menu meetings.
